Academic Program Operations & Curriculum ApprenticeThe Academic Program Operations & Curriculum Apprentice supports academic program development through project-based work aligned with curriculum design, accessibility, and program communication. This role provides advanced, career-related learning closely tied to the student's academic program and professional interests.The apprentice works independently on defined projects and produces tangible deliverables that contribute directly to course quality, student experience, and program effectiveness.Job ResponsibilitiesCreate detailed content maps for assigned courses to document learning objectives, activities, and assessmentsEvaluate courses using a standardized rubric and summarize findings with actionable recommendationsCorrelate course content and competenciesAssist in developing timelines that prioritize course revisions based on instructional need and student impactDraft professional communication materials (e.g., marketing emails, SharePoint content, internal documentation) for review and approvalCreate social media posts to engage alumni and recruit new studentsSupport organization and maintenance of program resources in SharePoint or CanvasManage assigned projects independently, meeting deadlines and incorporating feedbackParticipate in regular check-ins with the supervisor to discuss progress, challenges, and learning goalsLearning OutcomesBy the end of the apprenticeship, the student will be able to:Analyze and map academic course content across a multi-course programApply evaluation rubrics to assess course design and instructional effectivenessDevelop project timelines and prioritize work based on program goalsTranslate institutional requirements into actionable academic guidanceProduce professional communication artifacts for academic and healthcare audiencesMinimum QualificationsEnrollment as an undergraduate or graduate studentStrong written communication skillsAbility to work independently and manage deadlinesPreferred QualificationsCoursework or interest in healthcare, education, instructional design, or administrationFamiliarity with Canvas or similar learning management systemsExperience with Microsoft Office or SharePointPosition Pay: $16.25/hrHours per week: 10-15 hoursStart Date: 08/24/2026End Date: 04/16/2027NOTE: Applicants must be work study eligible and have a work study award in their financial aid package to apply for this position.
